How we reach cargo owners

Four channels, one brief at the end

Every channel ends in one place. A freight decision-maker confirms a cargo and agrees to talk to your desk.

What lands on your desk

A named company, a real cargo and a yes

An introduction counts when all six lines are filled. Anything less stays with us until it is.

Every introduction carries

  • The company and the person who books freightBy name, with a direct line
  • Cargo, quantity, load and discharge portsAs the shipper states them
  • Laycan or shipping window
  • Expected cargoes over the next 12 months
  • Their permission to introduce youDated and logged against our reference
  • A sanctions screenUN, EU, UK OFSI and US OFAC lists, plus cargo origin for oil

What never counts

  • Contact lists, scraped or bought
  • Anyone introduced without their knowledge
  • Companies already in your bookChecked against your client list first
  • Counterparties in sanctioned jurisdictions
  • Fees to the shipper's own staffNobody on their side is paid for the introduction

How an introduction runs

From target list to fixture

The terms are written before the first call. Your log decides who introduced whom.

01

Terms in writing

Fee basis, attribution period and payment timing, agreed before any outreach.

02

Your lanes

You name the lanes, cargoes and shipper sizes. We add the companies we find.

03

Outreach

Calls, ads and messages run until a shipper confirms a real requirement.

04

Introduction

The brief reaches you within 48 hours of the shipper's yes.

05

You fix it

You price and fix the cargo. We are paid when your commission lands.

Questions desks ask

Before you sign the terms

Anything else goes to the desk by email. A person answers within a working day.

Do you act as a broker?

No. We introduce, and you quote, negotiate and contract. Nobody at 200 represents your desk or signs on its behalf.

What if the shipper is already your client?

Then no fee is due. You share your client list, and we check every name against it before we call.

Do you send the same cargo to competing desks?

No. Each requirement goes to one desk. Lane exclusivity is available when it is agreed in writing.

Do you introduce sanctioned oil?

Never. Every oil brief documents where the cargo comes from. Anything touching a sanctioned party, vessel or origin stops with us.

Do you automate LinkedIn?

No. LinkedIn bans bots and scrapers, and so do we. Every message comes from a named person on our team.

How soon do introductions start?

Usually within four weeks of agreeing terms and a target list. Seasonal cargo like grain starts faster in season.

Running an introducer programme?

Send the lanes you cover. Nothing starts until both sides sign.
